On September 29, 2016, India’s DGMO claimed that seven surgical strikes were carried out by the Indian commandos. The DG ISPR denied the claim and took 40 Pakistani and foreign journalists to the LOC, including two sites, that India claimed were targeted during the strike.
The claim and counter-claims continue between the two states since then.
The media is siding with their respective army versions. The people are confused.
The irony is that one side is obviously lying and making its people `Mamoo’.
Pressure is building up within India to release photos or videos of the surgical strikes.
Once it is established as to which side is lying, it is hoped that the lying party will be asked to resign. This is the least that can be done.
